Kate & Mark, a few more more

Four more from Kate & Mark’s wedding. The complete gallery looks like being online by Friday. We will post details when it’s up.

This was our last wedding for about 4 weeks giving us a chance to finish off the albums from October and November. We also just received the photos from our own wedding last month, I might even post some here!

To all our future brides and grooms, Merry Christmas from James & Steph and we’ll see you soon…

Kate & Mark

It was a warm one yesterday for Kate & Mark’s wedding. The ceremony was at Mount Annan followed by a quick drive into Sydney for photos around Rushcutters Bay and finally for the reception at the Vibe hotel.

We will post a few more photos shortly, so be sure to check back later in the week.

Looking up with one of the cool looking trees at Rushcutters Bay as a backdrop.

As always the bride looked stunning.

We (or someone) managed to set off the alarm on this building while taking this shot.
Great work guys for looking so calm and collected with the siren blaring in the background.

Nicole & Christopher

The last few for photos for now from Saturdays wedding.

To all Nicole & Christophers family and friends the complete gallery is now online & as usual if you missed one of our little cards with the login password just email us.

Another simple profile shot using window light to show off the brides hair

The difference in size between Nicole & Chris’s wedding rings was huge!

Nicole & Christopher

We were back in action again this weekend with Nicole and Christophers wedding. Nicole was a bridesmade from a wedding we shot in September last year. The ceremony was at Horsley Park and the reception at Camden Lakeside. It was a great day & lots of fun.

Check back for some more photos shortly…

My favourite shot for the day.
Here we shon the video light through the glass on the front door
creating the cool light pattern on the wall behind.

The challange when photographing a wedding is to try and couples personality in the very limited time available.
I think we got it spot on here, and for some reason I feel like drinking a beer right now…

Simple candid shot as the bride sees herself in her the dress for the first time.

The girls..

Love this one, shot with strong backlighting through the bedroom window.

Something a Little Different

No weddings this weekend, instead I spent a couple of hours on Saturday morning photographing Lane Cove Aquatic Centre in Sydney.
The centre is under new management and they have recently made some great improvements. Starting with the gym…

Then onto the swimming pool. The challange here is to make the centre look busy by showing lots people in the images, but at the same time you don’t want to be able to eaisly identify anyone.

One more from Jade & Troy’s wedding

This will make a great album page.

No more weddings for around 6 weeks as we go into Album making mode. Check back over the next couple of weeks and I’ll upsoad some album spreads from the weddings you see below.

Bec & Dave @ Hamilton Island

We had a great few days up at Hamilton Island photographing Bec & Dave’s wedding. The sun and sand made a perfect change to our normal wedding routine.

I love this shot, the reflection is from the kitchen bench. What makes it though is the shape the bodies form (like a big ‘M’) it hold’s your eye and makes you look at it for longer.

Slightly drag the shutter so the flowers blur a little.

This light was on the stairs joining the two levels of the reception room.

And finally, one for Bec’s mum…..
